LANCASTER, PA - The Johns Hopkins men's cross country team has been voted second in the Centennial Conference preseason poll it was announced this morning.
The Jays earned 57 points in the preseason poll, finishing behind unanimous favorite Haverford. Dickinson, Swarthmore, and Ursinus rounded out the top five.
Hopkins returns most of their team from 2021's second-place finisher. Coming back are four All-Conference finishers in
Matthew Kleiman,
Gavin Mcelhennon,
Charlie Teeter, and
Tommy Li. Also joining them is graduate
Arthur Beyer and junior
Jonas Larson.
Hopkins opens up the season on Thursday, September 1 in the Baltimore Metro hosted by Goucher.
