Johns Hopkins to Host NCAA Second and Third Rounds

BALTIMORE, MD – Second-ranked Johns Hopkins earned a first-round bye and will host the second and third rounds of the NCAA Tournament this weekend at Homewood Field. The Blue Jays (19-1) are one of four teams that earned a bye in the tournament.
 
Hopkins is making its seventh straight NCAA Tournament appearance and 13th overall. The Blue Jays have advanced to championship weekend five times with three national championship game appearances. Hopkins is 17-14 all-time in the tournament, including 15-6 under head coach Jane Wells. This is the fourth time since 2019 that JHU is hosting the second and third rounds.
 
Hopkins will take on the winner of Wednesday's first round game between 16th-ranked Stevenson (19-2) and 24th-ranked WPI (14-5). On the other side of the Baltimore Bracket, ninth-ranked Middlebury (12-5) will host Westfield State (18-3) and eighth-ranked Endicott (20-1) will host Keene State (15-6) on Wednesday. The winners will face each on Saturday in Baltimore. Saturday's winners will meet on Sunday for the right to go to the Final Four.
 
The winners of the four weekend sites advance to the NCAA Final Four at Robin L. Sheppard Field in Hartford, CT. The national semifinals will be played on Friday, November 21 with the championship game set for Sunday, November 24.
