Pride and Poise: Support Hopkins Football

Pride & Poise is more than a mantra for our program, it’s the foundation of who we are.

Pride means wearing Hopkins across your chest with honor while knowing that you represent something greater than yourself. It’s being proud of the relentless work that has brought you here and will carry you to even greater heights.

Poise is the discipline to stay true to our standards, especially in the most difficult situations; when the game is on the line, when fatigue sets in, when no-one is watching. It’s having the strength to do what is right - for the right reasons - especially when it’s not easy. 

Together, Pride & Poise define the mindset that drives our program, both on and off the field.

We are launching a bold initiative to raise $2 million in support of Hopkins Football, an investment in our scholar-athletes, our tradition of excellence, and the future of our program.

This campaign focuses on three key priorities, each essential to ensuring that Hopkins Football remains one of the premier programs in Division III athletics:

1. Capital Improvements – $1,000,000

Help us modernize the physical spaces that fuel our success. Your support will fund:

• A full locker room renovation to enhance the scholar-athlete experience
  • New Lockers
  • Updated Technology (TV's, Sound System)
  • Enhanced Film Areas
  • Updated Branding
• Upgrades to the football conference room, promoting better preparation and team cohesion
• Improvements to the coaches’ suite, creating a more effective environment for staff collaboration and recruiting

2. Pride & Poise Endowment – $500,000

This growing endowment provides permanent, supplemental funding for the program, supporting annual programmatic needs, operations, and long-term sustainability. Contributing to the Pride & Poise Endowment ensures Hopkins Football continues to thrive for generations to come.

3. Annual Fund – $500,000

Annual Fund gifts provide immediate-impact support for essential priorities:

• Enhanced sports performance and training resources
• Competitive assistant coaching salaries
• Cutting-edge technology and analysis tools
• Expanded team travel opportunities
