Kevin Quinlan

Kevin Quinlan returns for his second season as an assistant coach with the Johns Hopkins men's basketball team in 2018-19.

Quinlan joined the Hopkins staff after a seven-year stint as head coach at Glenelg Country School in Ellicott City, MD. During his tenure, he led GCS to a 122-80, four MIAA playoff berths and one MIAA Championship (2011). Prior to arriving in Ellicott City, Quinlan spent three seasons as the head coach at Thomas Edison High School in Alexandria, VA. He also had assistant coaching stints at T.C Williams High School (Alexandria, VA) and Sidwell Friends School (Washington, DC).

Quinlan is a graduate of Maryland with degrees in geography (1991) and zoology (1995) and has a Masters of Education from George Mason.
