COLLEGEVILLE, PA - The Johns Hopkins volleyball team swept a Centennial Conference tri-match against Dickinson and Ursinus on Saturday to improve to 14-12 overall and 5-2 in the Centennial. The Blue Jays defeated Dickinson, 3-2 (28-30, 30-28, 30-27, 28-30, 15-10), before winning the final match of the day versus Ursinus, 3-1 (24-30, 30-14, 30-27, 30-21). JHU has won three consecutive matches and finishes the regular season with three CC matches.

Senior outside hitter Emily Miller (Richmond, VA/Governor's School) led the offense versus Dickinson with 23 kills, while junior middle hitters Elisabeth Breese (Geneva, NY/Geneva) and Sarah Payne (Roanoke, VA/Cave Spring) added 15 and nine kills, respectively.

Freshman right side player Erin Trish (Lexington, MA/Northfield Mount Hermon) led the team with a career-high 26 digs, and freshman setter Betsy Baydala (Rockville Centre, NY/South Side) totaled a team-high 46 assists.

Against Ursinus, Miller once again led the offense with 18 kills. Breese and freshman outside hitter Betsy Farmer (East Meadow, NY/East Meadow) each added 10 kills for Hopkins. Trish led the team in digs with 22, while Baydala totaled 19 digs, 38 assists, and five aces. Senior defensive specialist Courtney Williams (Schaumburg, IL/IL Math & Science Academy) equaled Baydala's team-high five aces.

The Blue Jays will return to action Wednesday with a home match versus Centennial rival Gettysburg beginning at 7:00 p.m.
