ALLENTOWN, PA - The Johns Hopkins women's soccer team lost to Muhlenberg, 2-0, in a Centennial Conference match on Saturday. The Blue Jays fall to 6-3-1 on the season.

Sophomore forward Amy Schmidt (Leesport, PA/Schuylkll Valley) netted the gamewinner for the Mules at the 39:21 mark on an assist from senior midfielder Courtney Levine (Mahwah, NJ/Mahwah). Freshman Kristen Cioeta (Aston, PA/Sun Valley) added an insurance goal at 66:16.

Sophomore goalkeeper Jen Goebel (Jericho, NY/Jericho) recorded six saves in the defeat. Muhlenberg out-shot Hopkins 20-15.

The Blue Jays look to rebound when they travel to play York on Wednesday, October 1 at 4:00 p.m.
