The Blue Jays bounced back in their second match, defeating the Wolverines of Grove City 14-1. JHU used a balanced scoring attack, as three players registered multiple goals, and a total of ten players scored. Senior Marc Sanford (Greenwich, CT/Greenwich) set the pace for the Jays scoring three times, and freshman Chris Hemmerle (Souderton, PA/Souderton) and Singleton each scored twice.
On the second day of the Open, the Blue Jays continued their winning ways defeating Gannon 11-6. Singleton lead the Blue Jays with three goals, and Hemmerle and senior Brian Mead (Palo Alto, CA/Gunn) each registered two goals.
