On the ensuing possession junior guard Scott Weisenfeld (Chappaqua, NY/Horace Greeley) drove the lane and hit a lay-up to tie the game at 26-26 with 8:03 to play in the half. That would be the last tie of the game as Matt Presby hit from downtown to give the Bullets a lead they would not relinquish. Gettysburg pushed its lead to as much as 11 points but a lay-up from junior Collin Kamm (Avon, NJ/Saint Rose) and a trey from sophomore Pat O'Connell (Baltimore, MD/Loyola Blakefield) and it was a six-point game at the half.
