Junior Kirby Houck (Baltimore, MD/Garrison Forest) found the twine for the 15th time this season of a feed from senior Mary Key (Stevensville, MD/St. Mary's). It was the 46th assist and 102nd point of the season for Key, breaking the school's all-time single-season records. Just over 30 seconds later, Key scored her first of the night when she curled around the right side of the cage and fired a low shot past Tigers goalie Mandy Corry.

Shannon Witzel ended the Hopkins run with 6:10 to play, driving the right side and scoring on a shot to the near post to make it 4-3. Janice scored on a free position shot for the second time in the game with 4:58 to play pushing the Blue Jays lead back to two. Key won the ensuing draw and scored on a shot to the left post, just 11 seconds after Janice's goal. Hopkins headed into the half with a 6-3 lead.

Towson came out of the break and scored two goals in the first 20 seconds to cut the score to 6-5. Junior Lauren Schwarzmann (Sykesville, MD/Century) pushed the lead back to two with a free position goal 2:14 in to the half. Just 46 seconds however, Britt Woodfield scored on a hard shot from the eight meter arc to make it 7-6. Freshman Sam Schrum (Pasadena, MD/St. Mary's) scored three straight goals to push Hopkins lead to 10-6 with 16:48 to play.

Witzel scored on a free position shot for the second time, cutting the lead to three. Schwarzmann came back with her second of the night, igniting a 5-2 Hopkins run as the Blue Jays closed out the game with a 15-9 score.

Schrum tied her career-high with four goals on the night to lead the Blue Jays. Stamper notched her fifth hat trick of the season. Sophomore Amelia Harris (Clifton, VA/J.W. Robinson) finished with a career-high 15 saves to earn her sixth win of the season. Fratzke and Witzel led the Tigers with three goals apiece. Corry made 13 saves in the loss for Towson.
