CARLISLE, PA - Head coach Greg Giovanazzi and the Johns Hopkins volleyball team's Centennial Conference record stays perfect after sweeping Dickinson on the road, 3-0 on Wednesday. The Blue Jays jump to 14-4 (2-0) for the year.
The Blue Jays took three sets from the Red Devils to earn their second conference victory on the road this season. Hopkins reined the first set, 25-13 and continued to dominate in the second stanza, notching a 25-22 victory. The Blue Jays didn't falter in the third set, taking the win, 25-14.
Senior Amanda Lewis (San Antonio, TX/ St. Mary's Hall) recorded a double-double with 11 digs and 27 assists, while junior Alex Zenoff (San Francisco, CA/San Francisco University HS) had nine kills to lead the Blue Jay attack. Junior Allison Cappelaere (Ellicott City, MD/Centennial) tallied 14 digs in the victory.
Hopkins returns to action on Saturday, October 4 to host Haverford at 1 p.m.
