Trailing 3-2 at the end of the first quarter, Bucknell came out strong to start the second, with goals from Seah Coghlan and Richie Hayden to take a 4-3 lead as the Bison would not trail for the remainder of the match. Junior John Barrett (Clarendon Hills, IL/Fenwick) would cut the deficit to one with just eight seconds on the clock on a man-up goal for the Blue Jays.
