BALTIMORE, MD - Princeton's Jack Ruth scored an extra-man goal in overtime to lead the visiting Tigers to a 10-9 win at Johns Hopkins Saturday afternoon in CWPA Southern Division action. The Blue Jays slip to 7-6 overall and 1-1 in the league. The Tigers improve to 6-2 overall and 1-0 in the league.

Princeton outscored the Blue Jays 2-1 in each of the first two quarters to build a 4-2 lead at halftime, but the Blue Jays used a five goal third quarter to take a one-goal lead into the final period of play. Princeton rallied back in the final quarter to force overtime and then won in the extra session.

Ruth's goal came in the first overtime session and was the only goal scored in the six extra minutes of action. Sophomore Kielan Crow (Portola Valley, CA/Lick-Wilmerding) led the Blue Jays with four goals while classmate Ross Schofield (Greenwich, CT/Greenwich) had a pair of goals.

Hopkins returns to action on Wednesday, October 6 when Navy visits Baltimore. The CWPA Southern Division match is slated for a 4:30 pm start.
