CARLISLE, PA - The Johns Hopkins volleyball team swept past Dickinson, 3-0 (25-18, 26-24, 25-19), on Wednesday night in Centennial Conference action. The Blue Jays remain unbeaten in conference play and improve to 10-9 (3-0 CC) on the year, while the Red Devils drop to 3-11 (0-2 CC).
Junior Melissa Cole (10 kills, 15 digs) and senior KC Stingl (10 kills, 15 digs) each recorded a double-double to lead the Blue Jays. Junior Sarah Feicht posted 12 kills for Hopkins, while sophomore Amelia Thomas recorded 10 kills, eight digs and three clutch service aces in a row with the Blue Jays down 24-22 in the second set. Sophomore Becky Paynter added 34 assists and seven digs.
Freshman Grace Morgan led Dickinson with 24 assists and 10 digs, while sophomore Avery Zuvic added eight kills and 10 digs.
Hopkins returns home on Saturday, October 2 to host Haverford in Centennial Conference action. Match-time is set for 5:30 pm in Goldfarb Gym.
