SALISBURY, MD - Chelsea Glowacki posted 11 kills and Carley Todd notched 30 assists as the No. 18 Salisbury volleyball team swept Johns Hopkins in straight sets (25-23, 25-14, 25-16) Wednesday night in Salisbury, MD.
The Seagulls controlled the entirety of the match, holding the Blue Jays to a meager .113 hitting percentage. The Centennial Conference's leading hitter, Jasmine Warmington, tallied 10 kills, but was limited to a .233 hitting percentage.
Sophomore Kim Bronson tallied a match-high six blocks for Hopkins, while senior libero Amelia Thomas had a match-high 17 digs.
Hopkins (20-3) was held well below its season average of 11.7 assists/set, managing just nine assists/set against Salisbury (22-1). The Seagulls are the only ranked team on the Blue Jays' schedule.
The Blue Jays aim to get back on track in Haverford, PA Saturday as they square off against Haverford and York at noon and 2:00 pm, respectively.
