CARLISLE, PA - Host Dickinson scored a pair of first-half goals and went on to beat Johns Hopkins, 3-1, in Centennial Conference action Saturday afternoon. The Blue Jays fall to 2-6-1 overall and 0-2-0 in the Centennial, while the Red Devils, ranked 17th by D3soccer.com, improve to 7-2-0 and 1-1-0 in the conference.

Connor Gavey put the Red Devils on the board in the 12th minute with an unassisted tally following a Javier Mena corner kick. Sixteen minutes later, Derek Kachadurian pushed Dickinson's lead to two. Hopkins pulled within one in the final minute of the half when the Blue Jays drew a foul just outside the Red Devils' box. Junior Kotaro Mitsuhashi stepped up and buried his free kick in the 45th minute to make it 2-1 at the half. Dickinson retook its two-goal lead in the 60th minute off Jamie Martin's goal.

Paris finished with a career-high 10 saves, while his counterpart Reed Milbrath made four saves to earn the win. Dickinson outshot Hopkins, 19-9, and had a 6-2 advantage in corners.
