SWARTHMORE, PA - Hannah Kronick was at it again for the Blue Jays, as she headed in an Alyssa Morgan corner kick in the 90th minute to give the Jays a 2-1 win over host Swarthmore. The win is the team's seventh in a row and bumps the Jays record to 9-2-0 (3-0-0 CC).
The assist was not the only highlight for Morgan as she got the scoring going for the Jays with a goal in the 24th minute. Morgan took a pass from Bailey Monaco off a throw in and put it past goalkeeper Reba Magier.
The scoring began early, with the Garnet's Mele Johnson taking a long ball from the defense and having a break away opportunity before putting a shot past goalkeeper Clara Aranguren. Between the goals play was dominated by Hopkins as they outshot Swarthmore 19-5 on the night.
Kronick's goal was her ninth of the season, while Morgan's was her second.
Hopkins is back in action next Wednesday as they host Franklin & Marshall. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. at Homewood Field.
