LEXINGTON, VA - The Johns Hopkins wrestling team continued its early season action at Washington & Lee on Sunday with three duals. The Blue Jays topped Huntingdon (36-12) and fell to Lycoming (40-3) and Ohio Northern (44-3).

Senior Paul Bewak led the way for the the Blue Jays as he won all three of his matches on the day. He decisioned Kyle Drick of Lycoming (11-7) and Brad Taton of Ohio Northern (4-2) and pinned Wade Thomas of Huntingdon in 2:54 to cap his perfect day.

While Bewak was the only Blue Jay to go 3-0, Hopkins did get four more wins by fall in its victory against Huntingdon as Christian Vallis, Alex McLaughlin, Jared Forman and Ellis Flannery all picked up pins. Vallis and McLaughlin's falls came in the first period.
