BALTIMORE, MD - The Johns Hopkins women's soccer team remained unbeaten in conference play Saturday with a 3-0 win over Muhlenberg. The team is now 8-2-0 overall and 2-0-0 in Centennial Conference play.
The scoring started for the Jays in the 26th minute, as Hannah Kronick took a long ball from Adrienne Johnson and nailed one in the bottom left corner pass the goalkeeper. For Kronick, the goal was her eighth of the season, coming on Johnson's second assist. Five minutes later, Alyssa Conti tallied her first goal of the season off an assist from Bailey Monaco. The final goal came off the foot of Alaina Arthur, as she put it past the keeper into the upper right corner of the goal.
The three goals in today's match match the amount of goals the Mules had allowed all season. Defensively, the Jays were outstanding, yet again, allowing just four shots. Sarah Benett notched another shutout victory, her fourth of the season.
The Jays will be in action Wednesday at Swarthmore. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
