The Short Story: Host and 12th-ranked Haverford ran its win streak to 13 with a 4-1 win over the Johns Hopkins men's soccer team in the semifinals of the Centennial Conference Tournament Saturday morning. The Blue Jays end their season with an 11-5-3 record while the Fords (15-3-0) advance to the conference title match and will play the Dickinson Red Devils.

How it Happened
• Haverford jumped out to an early 1-0 lead as the conference's leading scorer Sam Yarosh buried a rocket of a shot from 25 yards out in the eighth minute for his 16th goal of the season.
• Hopkins answered in the 38th minute when junior Victor Osio scored from just outside the box, putting a shot into the left side of the goal.
• The Fords would have the final say of the half however, scoring a pair of goals in the final three minutes to go up 3-1 at the half. Will Corkery put the Fords back on top as he scored off a free kick from 20 yards out in the 43rd minute. Just 88 seconds later, Ben Fields took a pass from Brady Seitz and scored on a low shot to the far post.
• Haverford added to its lead in the 68th minute thanks to a Tejan Walcott goal.

What it Means
• Hopkins is now 27-22-6 all-time against Haverford, though the Fords have won five straight in the series. • The Blue Jays are 5-4-3 in Centennial Conference semifinal matches.
• Hopkins' 11 wins are the most since 2010 season when Blue Jays won 15 games.
