The Short Story: Host Rutgers-Newark scored with less than five minutes to play to force overtime and then scored in the 105th minute to defeat the Johns Hopkins men's soccer team, 2-1. The Blue Jays suffer their first loss since the season opener as they fall to 3-2-1 on the season. The Scarlet Raiders improve to 5-2-0 and win the Scarlet Raider Classic.

How it Happened
• After a scoreless first half, senior Kevin Caskey got the Blue Jays on the board in the 48th minute with his first career goal. A scrum ensued off a Hopkins corner kick and Caskey knocked in the loose ball to stake Hopkins to a 1-0 lead.
• The hosts got the equalizer in the 86th minute when Damjan Agai sent a low cross into the box. Chigozie Atubi buried the cross into the lower left corner of the goal to knot the score at 1-1.
• Junior Bryan See made a pair of saves in the first overtime, and got a defensive save from a teammate, to force a second overtime.
• Rutgers-Newark completed the comeback in the 105th minute as Charlie O'Connell headed home the game-winner.

• Johns Hopkins is now 0-2-0 all-time against Rutgers-Newark, with both losses coming by just one goal.
• The loss snaps the Blue Jays' four-game unbeaten streak (3-0-1).
