• The Short Story: Visiting Dickinson went 6-of-6 from the line in the final 12 seconds to earn a 69-64 win over the Johns Hopkins men's basketball team Tuesday night. The loss snaps the Blue Jays' four game win streak.

How it Happened
• The game started with a series of runs as Hopkins opened the game on a 6-0 run but it was answered by 10 straight points from Dickinson. Trailing by four at the 15:34-mark, Hopkins pulled even on a Ryan Curran free throw and a Michael Gardner triple.
• The Red Devils responded with another 10-0 run to go up 20-10 on the Blue Jays four minutes later. Junior Kyle Doran drained a three to spark an 11-2 burst by the Blue Jays as they pulled within one with 6:56 to play in the half. A trio of three-pointers fueled the run as Dickinson led 22-21.
• Dickinson came right back with an 8-2 run to push its lead to 30-23 at the 4:21-mark. Elijah Wright capped the run with a fast-break dunk off a Bryce Allen steal. The Red Devils could not add to their lead as the Blue Jays went five-of-six from the free throw line and then got a fast-break layup from sophomore Noah Ralby to tie the game with 1:34 to go. Allen had the final say of the half however, getting back-to-back buckets to give Dickinson a 34-30 lead at the half.
• The second half was a different story as there were 12 lead changes and four ties. The first 3:19 of the half was just a prelude to that as the lead changed hands four times alone during that span.
• Midway through the half, Michael Jurzynski tied the game for the Devils on a dunk. That sparked a 7-0 spurt that saw the Devils go up 52-47 with 7:07 to play. Ralby answered with a pair of free throws, followed by a Doran three-pointer to tie the game.
• Justus Melton put Dickinson back on top 30 seconds later, but graduate student Austin Vasiliadis came back with back-to-back threes to put Hopkins ahead 58-54 at the 4:39-mark. The Red Devils continued to fight and used a 9-4 burst to take a 63-62 lead with 1:11 on the clock.
• Hopkins answered with a Daniel Vila bucket in the paint to give the Blue Jays a 64-63 lead. That would be the final bucket of the game for the Jays while the Red Devils went six-of-six from the charity stripe to grab the win.
