• The Short Story: Paige Ackman notched her first career goal as the Johns Hopkins women's soccer team defeated Rowan by a score of 1-0.

How it Happened
• The Blue Jays controlled the tempo for the majority of the first half, keeping the ball in the offensive zone as they outshot the Profs, 5-1.
• Hopkins broke the scoreless tie in the 38th minute as Jackie Tait sent a pass off a corner kick that Ackman was able to direct into the back of the net for the score.
• The second half saw Rowan generate two shots on goal, however Bess Kitzmiller was able to make both saves as they Jays would hold on for the 1-0 win.

What it Means
• Hopkins improves to 2-0 on the season.
• The Jays are now in the win column against the Profs, improving to 1-1-3 all-time.

Inside the Box Score
• Hopkins held the advantage in shots at 9-4, as well as corner kicks at 7-5.
• Rowan goaltender Shelby Money made five saves in the game.
