• The Short Story: The #24 Johns Hopkins women's volleyball team swept its matches against Haverford and Arcadia on Saturday afternoon to bring its winning streak to 12 matches. The Blue Jays won both matches by 3-0 scores.

Match One Highlights
• Hopkins took an early 4-0 lead in the first set during which Natalie Aston contributed two service aces. JHU would later go on a six-point run to make the score 19-10 during which Aston notched two more aces, and the Blue Jays would take the first set 25-14 off a kill from Simone Bliss.
• Set two stayed close for a while before Hopkins went on a four-point run to go ahead 11-6. Johns Hopkins would continue to build upon its lead and a kill from Aston would seal the 25-15 victory in set two.
• The Fords got out to an early lead in set three, going ahead 5-3. The Blue Jays would comeback, eventually tying the match at seven off a kill from Aston. They would then take the lead off a kill from Morgan Wu and would go onto win the set 25-19 and the match in straight sets.

Match Two Highlights
• Johns Hopkins broke out to a 13-4 advantage in the first set, scoring seven consecutive points. The Jays would end the set on a 3-1 run and win the set 25-11 on a kill from Kristi Rhead.
• Set two was highly competitive, with neither team being able to build a substantial lead. The Blue Jays fell behind 6-3, however they would notch three straight points capped by a kill from Louisa Kishton to tie the match.
• JHU would go on a 4-0 run to take a 11-7 advantage, but eventually the Knights would get the set tied at 15.
• Hopkins would regain the lead and would go onto take the second set 25-21.
• Johns Hopkins did get out to a 5-1 lead in the third set and would build a 15-9 lead to force a Knights timeout. Arcadia would slowly chip away at the Hopkins lead, however the Blue Jays would hold on and win the set 25-22 and the match 3-0.

What it Means
• The Blue Jays improve to 23-11 against Haverford and have won the last four matches and are now 2-0 against Arcadia.
• Hopkins has won its last 12 matches, which is the longest winning streak since the team won 16 in a row in 2012.
• With the win over Haverford, the Blue Jays have won 13 straight conference matches.
