• The Short Story: Lillian Scott scored 28 points as four players scored in double-digits as the Johns Hopkins women's basketball team defeated Ursinus, 70-51 on Saturday afternoon.

How it Happened
• Trailing 18-12 with 1:29 remaining in the first quarter Scott converted back-to-back layups on fast breaks to bring JHU to within two at the end of the first quarter.
• The Bears opened the second quarter on a 5-0 run to pull ahead 23-16. Madison McGrath ended the Ursinus run with a jumper, but Ursinus responded with a three from Marisa Morano to go up seven. McGrath hit another jumper to make the score 23-18, but the Bears would hit a three, this time by Sydney Fail, to go up eight. Back-to-back two-point shots from Rory Cole and McGrath got the Ursinus lead down to five, but Lydia Konstanzer answered with a layup to get the lead back up to seven. Trailing by six, Sophia Way hit a three to cut the Bears' lead in half. Scott got the Blue Jays to within two with 1:16 remaining with a layup and JHU would head into the locker room trailing 31-29.
• 15 seconds into the third quarter, Way nailed a three to put the Blue Jays in the lead 32-31, and Scott gave Hopkins a three-point lead with a layup at 9:15. Scott scored 13-straight points for Hopkins in the remaining 3:26 of the quarter as Johns Hopkins got its lead up to ten heading into the fourth.
• Scott scored the first four JHU points of the fourth before McGrath ended Scott's scoring streak and gave Hopkins a 58-46 lead. JHU scored nine of the game's final 12 points en route to the 70-51 victory.

What it Means
• Hopkins leads the all-time series 36-9 and defeated the Bears earlier this season by a score of 68-39. • This is the first time JHU has swept the regular season series from the Bears since the 2014-15 season.

Inside the Box Score
• Scott finished with 28 points, six rebounds, and two steals while Way finished 12 points four rebounds one assist and one steal. This is the sixth-straight game Way has scored in double figures.
• McGrath scored ten points in the game while Cole recorded her second straight double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds.
Maggie Spitzer finished with three points, three assists, and seven rebounds.
• Hopkins shot 44.4% from the floor and held the Bears to just 26.9% from the floor.
• This is the second time this season JHU has had four players scored in double-figures.
