Emily Maheras gave Hopkins and early lead and
Natalie Farrell added another goal late as the Blue Jays defeat PSU-Berks 2-0 to advance to the next round of the NCAA Tournament.
How it Happened
• As has been the case many times this season,
Emily Maheras gave Johns Hopkins an early lead, scoring in the ninth minute. The goal was Maheras' 15
th of the season.
• After two great chances on corner earlier in the game, the third time was the charm for
Natalie Farrell, as she headed home the cross from
Alex Damron for her first goal of the season, giving JHU a 2-0 lead in the 73
rd minute.

Caitlin Hendricks made four saves, earning her third straight shutout, holding the third highest scoring team in Division III scoreless.
What it Means
• The Blue Jays advance to the Second Round of the 2019 NCAA Tournament where they will play the winner of Christopher Newport/Worcester State.
