WAYNESBURG, PA – The Johns Hopkins wrestling team dropped three tough matches at the 2019 Waynesburg Duals as the Blue Jays fell to host Waynesburg (32-14), Messiah (37-12) and Washington & Jefferson (30-18).  These were the first three dual meets of the season for the Blue Jays.
 
Double Winners
Johns Hopkins had three wrestlers pick up two wins apiece on the day.  Senior Nathan Wertheimer (184) and sophomore Bradlee Lamontagne (157) and Joe Paul (174) all went 2-1 on the day for Johns Hopkins.  The trio combined for four pins on the day with both of Wertheimer's wins on the day coming by fall.  The two pins on the day give Wertheimer 14 in his career.
 
What's Next
Johns Hopkins will return to action on Saturday, November 23 when the Blue Jays travel to Massachusetts to participate in the Doug Parker Invitational at Springfield College.
