How it Happened
• Bucknell scored the first two goals of the match, but a goal by senior
Finn Banks cut the deficit in half after one. The Bison scored a five-meter to open the second quarter and again Banks answered to keep it a one-goal game.
• Bucknell responded with six unanswered to push out to a 9-2 lead with 6:03 to go in the third quarter. Freshman
Chris Freese scored to put JHU back on the board and cut the deficit to six. The Bison used a 3-1 run to end the quarter and take a 12-4 lead into the fourth.
• Hopkins got two quick goals from sophomores
Emerson Sullivan and
Jayden Kunwar to pull within six with 6:53 still to play. Bucknell used another 3-1 run to close out the game and secure the win.
