Gettysburg outscored Johns Hopkins 29-21 in the second half en route to a 52-44 victory on Wednesday night. The Blue Jays' four-game winning streak came to an end while the Bullets picked up their 15th straight victory and remain undefeated in Centennial Conference play.

Johns Hopkins pulled out to an early 7-2 lead in the contest after Elise Moore nailed a triple and Diarra Oden followed with a jumper. The teams battled back-and-forth in the first quarter before Hopkins took a 15-13 lead just before the quarter break on a layup from Kristin Ralston.

Gettysburg took a 19-15 lead after an early 6-0 run in the second quarter, but Hopkins responded with a 5-0 run of its own, retaking the lead on an Emily Howie triple with 4:40 to play in the quarter. Oden knocked down a three of her own to put JHU up 23-21 with just over four minutes left in the half and the teams eventually went into halftime tied at 23.

The Bullets took a 31-25 lead less than three minutes into the second half, but Oden responded with her second three to make it 31-28. The Bullets, who entered the game ranked 22nd in the nation, gradually built the lead to seven at 38-31 at the end of three quarters.

Gettysburg extended the lead to double-figures for the first time at the 7:20 mark of the fourth, taking a 45-34 lead on a jumper from Emma Hahner. The lead got as high as 13 before Hopkins cut it back to nine after a layup from Moore with just over five minutes to play. The Blue Jays used an 8-0 run to slice the deficit to 49-44 with just over two minutes remaining, but the Bullets held on for the eight-point win.
