Howie hit the first of her eight threes at the 5:07 mark to tie the game at 6-6. Washington College cut the Hopkins lead to 15-14 just under three minutes into the second quarter, but Howie hit back-to-back triples to pull the Blue Jays ahead 21-14. Crystal Jones layup with just under four minutes to play, but this time it was Oden who responded with a triple for JHU. The three sparked an 8-0 run to end the period, giving the Blue Jays a 51-40 lead.Â
