BALTIMORE, MD – Fans will get their first opportunity to see the 2022 Johns Hopkins men's lacrosse team in action on Sunday, October 24 when the Blue Jays partner with the HEADstrong Foundation for a five-team round robin event on the Homewood campus.  Each of the five teams will play two games with action starting at 9 am and concluding at approximately 5:30 pm.
 
The Cause
The event at Johns Hopkins will benefit the HEADstrong Foundation.  In lieu of admission to the event a suggested donation of $5.00 per person will be asked upon entry.  All proceeds will benefit the HEADstrong Foundation.
 
The HEADstrong Mission
The HEADstrong Foundation offers financial, residential, and emotional support to families affected by cancer. The founder, Nicholas Colleluori, a former men's lacrosse player at Hofstra, recognized the scarcity of essential resources for families during their fight. The HEADstrong team is based in Philadelphia and works relentlessly to provide resources for patients and their families who are receiving specialized cancer care throughout the country.
 
The Participants
In addition to the host Blue Jays, Harvard, High Point, Hobart and Richmond will participate in the event.

9 am:  Harvard vs. High Point (Homewood Field)
11 am:  Harvard vs. Richmond (Practice Field)
11 am:  Hobart vs. High Point (Homewood Field)
 
1 pm:  HEADstrong Presentation (Homewood Field)
 
1:45 pm:  Johns Hopkins vs. Hobart (Homewood Field)
3:30 pm:  Johns Hopkins vs. Richmond (Homewood Field)
 
Parking
Parking on the Homewood campus is available for spectators in the San Martin Garage (PDF).  The San Martin Garage is a short walk from Homewood Field and the practice field.  There will be a fee to park on campus.
 
Tailgating
Due to COVID protocols in the city of Baltimore and at Johns Hopkins, tailgating on campus is not permitted.
 
COVID Protocols
Masking in outdoor spaces is not required on the Homewood campus.  Access to any indoor space does require masking at all times.  Fans are encouraged to socially-distance themselves while viewing games at Homewood Field or the practice field.
