BALTIMORE, MD - For the second time in 2021,
Natalie Aston has been named Centennial Conference Player of the Week. The senior All-American has stuffed the stat sheet while helping the Jays to a Division III record-tying 60-match winning streak.
This past week, the senior setter led Hopkins to three victories, including two wins at the Randolph-Macon tournament. Aston was her normal outstanding self, dishing out 111 assists in 12 sets. Aston called her own number multiple times, totaling 19 kills on 28 swings, good for a .679 hitting percentage. Aston added six more service aces to her season total as well. On the defensive side, the senior chipped in with 27 digs and seven total blocks. The Blue Jays hit .242 for the week under Aston's leadership.
The Blue Jays return to action on Wednesday as they travel to Washington College for a Centennial Conference tilt.
