How it Happened

1st Half
• It did not take long for the Blue Jays to strike on Saturday night. Less than three minutes into the contest, Hopkins earned a corner. Freshman Lilah Isenberg whipped it in, finding the head of Sophia Stone for a 1-0 lead. The goal was Stone's second of the season. A few moments later, Lauren Maynor got the first look of the game for the Shorewomen, but Hendricks was there to make the save. Amaya Ellis wanted a 2-0 lead for Hopkins around the 10 minute mark, but Noah Smith had other ideas making a comfortable save. While both teams added to their shot totals, neither put a shot on target for the final 30 minutes of the period.

Smith made another save in the 56th minute, saving a shot from Juliana Taxter who tried to sneak one past the keeper towards the bottom corner. JHU struck again in the 59th minute. Riley O'Toole played it in for Hopkins & Katie Sullivan was there to slam it home for a 2-0 lead.
