BALTIMORE, MD –
Matthew Kleiman was named Centennial Conference Athlete of the Week honors for his performance at the Meet of Champions in New York this weekend. This is Kleiman's second Centennial Athlete of the Week honor this season.
The junior ran the race at Van Cortlandt Park in 25:23.3 to finish second in an event filled with Division I competition. Kleiman shattered his own 8K personal best by over 20 seconds and also broke head coach
Bobby Van Allen's personal record on this course. The Jays finished second overall at the event with a total of 79 points.
