The Short Story: The Johns Hopkins women's swim team returned to the pool for the first time in more than a month as the Blue Jays fell 160-89 to the visiting Bucknell Bison.

• The Blue Jays opened 2022 with a second-place finish in the 200 Medley Relay. Senior

Hannah Fu and sophomore
Joanna Dohrman then finished second and third in the 1000 Free. Fu clocked in at 10:44.76 with Dohrman touching in 10:51.12.
• Sophomore
Makenzie Higgins then led the Blue Jays with a fourth-place finish in the 200 Free with a time of 1:56.68.
• Senior
Sydney Okubo followed with a win in the 100 Back as she clocked in at 59.53 to win by 0.38 seconds.
• Rohovit took fourth place in the 100 Breast (1:08.76), followed by freshman
Michelle Liu in fifth (1:09.40).
• Davis then grabbed second place in the 200 Fly as she touched in 2:09.12.
• Alicea-Jorgensen beat the field in the 50 Free as she turned in a 24.42 to beat Bucknell's Maddie Hartigan by 0.24 seconds.
• Liu placed second in the 100 Free with a 53.88 while Higgins placed fourth in 54.27.
• Okubo finished third in the 200 Back (2:08.17) and junior
Chase Lahr placed fourth (2:12.37).
• Rohovit led Hopkins in the 200 Breast as she finished in 2:30.21. Freshman
Megan Craven finished in 2:33.97 for fifth place.
• Fu took third in the 500 Free with a 5:16.02 and Dohrman followed just 0.16 seconds later for fourth place (5:16.18).
• Davis earned her second runner-up finish as she clocked in at 59.57 in the 100 Fly.

• Hopkins is back in action on Friday, January 21 as the Blue Jays travel to Washington, DC to take on Georgetown. The meet is scheduled for a 4:00 pm start at McCarthy Pool.
