BRYN MAWR, PA- The Johns Hopkins women rolled into Bryn Mawr and came away with a blowout victory on the road in Centennial Conference play. The Blue Jays were able to control the game from the opening tip, taking a 29-point lead into the half time break. JHU was able to get many different players into the game and came out on top 82-29, to move to 5-3 (3-1) on the season.

The Blue Jays could do no wrong on both ends of the floor in the first eight minutes of the game. They scored the first 17 points of the game to build a lead that they would not give up throughout content.
Greta Miller and
Olivia Parisi both scored four points in that run with
Natalie Mann adding in a three pointer. Hopkins would close out the quarter with a jumper knocked down by
Jadyn Murray on an assist from
Maya Johnson to take a 23-7 lead into the second quarter.

JHU also had their strongest performance on the defensive end of the floor holding the Owls to just 20% on the floor. The Jays also allowed double-digit points in just one of the four quarters and forced 20 turnovers in the dominant team victory.

Hopkins was able to go deep into the bench in the game playing 18 players in the game.
Beth Corelli and
Elisabeth Peebles were both able to make their collegiate debuts in the game and both got on the score sheet with Corelli dropping nine points and Peebles adding on five.

For the first time this season,
Abby St. Onge led the team in scoring with a career-high 13 points and added eight boards.
Christine Corpuz was next in line with 10 points. The Blue Jays advance to 5-3 (3-1) on the season.

For Bryn Mawr,
Jessica Smith went 4-for-14 from the floor while leading the team with 11 points but ultimately fall to 2-6 (0-5).

The Blue Jays have a few weeks off for finals and the holiday break but will return to action at Goldfarb Gym when they take on Mary Washington on Dec. 29 (5 pm).
