BALTIMORE, MD – Visiting Washington & Lee won nine of 10 bouts to ease past host Johns Hopkins, 38-3, in Centennial Conference wrestling action in Goldfarb Gymnasium Friday evening. The Generals improve to 9-5 overall and 3-1 in the Centennial with the win, while the Blue Jays slip 2-8 overall and 0-4 in the Centennial.

Where the Match Was Won
The Generals jumped out to a 27-0 lead as they won the first six bouts of the night. Four of the six wins earned extra points for the Generals as they got a forfeit win at 125 from Riley Parker, a technical fall victory from Charlie Cunningham at 141, a major decision from Ryan Luth at 157 and a third-period pin from Joe Salerno at 165 to put the match away.

After Johns Hopkins got its lone win of the night at 174, the Generals scored wins at 184, 197 and 285 to close out the victory.
