BALTIMORE, MD – The Johns Hopkins men's soccer team scored a goal in each half to beat visiting Salisbury, 2-0, in non-conference action Wednesday afternoon. The Blue Jays improve to 8-2-3 overall while the Sea Gulls fall to 4-4-4 on the season.

Griffin Meyer, and he volleyed it in and the left post for what turned out to be the game-winner.
Francis Meyer added an insurance goal in the 77

Will Sangpachatanaruk drew a penalty kick when he was taken down just two yards inside the box.
Francis Meyer took the kick and blew a shot past Sea Gulls' goalie Mason Jones for his first of the season.
Senior
Drew Valsamedis finished with four saves to earn his first career shutout for Hopkins. Jones made five saves in the loss for Salisbury.
Hopkins returns to action on Saturday, October 14 as the Blue Jays travel to ninth-ranked Franklin & Marshall. The Centennial Conference contest is slated for a 6:00 pm start.
