BALTIMORE, MD – The Johns Hopkins women's swim team picked up four wins on Saturday in its dual meet against Georgetown. The visiting Hoyas won the meet, 152-110.
Hopkins took third in the 200 Medley Relay to open the day. Freshman

Elizbeth Cohen swam a 1:48.89 to finish in third place. Junior
Kristin Cornish followed with a second-place finish in the 1000 Free, finishing just two tenths of a second behind Georgetown's Sophia Ribeiro. Junior
Meghan Susil finished in fourth place with a time of 11:00.49.
Sophomore
Alex Watson earned the Blue Jays' first win of the afternoon as she beat the field in the 200 Free with a time of 1:54.54. Freshman
Julia Tuinman finished in a tie for second as she clocked in at 1:55.21. Lan then took third place in the 100 Back with a swim of 1:00.46, while senior
Makenzie Higgins placed fourth in 1:00.68.
Liu and sophomore
Katherine Chelus then went two-three in the 100 Breast. Liu touched the wall just seven-hundredths of a second (1:07.49) behind the Hoyas' Angelica Reali. Chelus followed in a close third with a time of 1:07.80. Freshman
Ayden Min finished in third place in the 200 Fly as he clocked in at 2:11.78. Petitt swam a 2:14.24 for fourth place.
Cohen swam to a first-place finish in the 50 Free as she edged out Tapli Seelbach with a time of 24.45. Lan finished in fourth place with a swim of 25.09. Watson and Liu took second and third in the 100 Free for the Blue Jays. Watson finished in 53.00 and Liu followed a mere six-hundredths of a second later. Higgins took second place in the 200 Back as she finished in 2:08.15
Junior
Taylor Rohovit placed third in the 200 Breast with a time of 2:27.12, followed by sophomore
Rachel Davis in fourth (2:29.99). Min then earned another win as she led the Blue Jays to a sweep of the top three spots in the 500 Free. Min took the win with a swim of 5:10.32. Cornish finished in second in 5:13.98 and Tuinman placed third in 5:14.87.
Cohen then took second place in the 100 Fly as she finished in 58.26. Petitt finished in third place with a time of 59.31. Davis finished in a tie for third in the 200 IM as she clocked in at 2:13.32. Hopkins then wrapped up the day with a win and third place finish in the 200 Free Relay. Liu, Lan, Cohen and Higgins turned in a winning time of 1:37.38. Sophomore
Alia Basler, sophomore
Claire Han, Watson and Pettit finished in third place with a time of 1:40.28.
Hopkins returns to action next Saturday, as the Blue Jays travel to Gettysburg, PA to take on the Bullets. The meet is scheduled for a 1:00 pm start.
