LANCASTER, PA – The Johns Hopkins women's swim team won all 11 events as the Blue Jays beat the host Franklin & Marshall Diplomats Saturday afternoon. Juniors
Kristin Cornish and
Taylor Rohovit led the way Hopkins with two individual wins each.
Hopkins kicked off the day with a one-two finish in the 200 Medley Relay. Freshman

Meg Susil turned the same trick in the 1000 Free. Cornish beat the field to the wall with a swim of 10:14.27. Susil followed in second place with a time of 10:34.93. The Blue Jays then swept the top three spots in the 200 IM, led by freshman
Julia Tuinman and her career-best time of 2:06.24. Sophomore
Rachel Davis placed second in 2:08.93 and freshman
Carly White turned in a career-best swim of 2:10.32 for third.
JHU followed with a one-two-three finish in the 400 Free Relay. Cohen, Higgins, sophomore
Alex Watson and Tuinman grabbed the win with an NCAA B time of 3:29.31. Sophomore

Hannah Fu finished in second in 3:32.05. Junior

Ayden Min then finished in 3:37.52.
Petitt was the lone Blue Jay to compete in the 200 Fly and she cruised to a nearly eight-second win with a career-best swim of 2:07.28. The Jays once again went one-two-three in the 200 Breast with Rohovit earning the win in 2:21.22. Davis finished in second in 2:23.89 and Chelus took third in 2:24.44. JHU did the same in the 200 Free and it was Watson earning the win with a swim of 1:52.93. Liu took second place with a tie of 1:54.91 and Fu turned in a career-best swim of 1:58.48 for third.
Hopkins turned in yet another one-two-three finish and grabbed 16 points in the 400 Medley Relay. Lan, Rohovit, Petitt and Higgins combined for a time of 3:51.53. Lan turned in a career-best time of 57.45 in her lead-off leg. Roche, Liu, Cohen and Watson placed second with a time of 3:53.38. Storen, Chelus, Basler and Han finished in third place with a time of 4:02.58
The Blue Jays did one better in the next event as they dominated the 500 Free. Cornish led a contingent of Blue Jays that took first through fourth with her winning time of 5:02.49. Tuinman placed second (5:05.77), followed by Min (5:07.47) and Susil (5:08.26). Rohovit then won the 200 Back as she clocked in a 2:07.56. White finished in second place with a swim of 2:11.08.
JHU closed out the day the same way it started – with a one-two finish in a relay. Cohen, Lan, Liu and Higgins combined for a 1:35.38 to win the 200 Free Relay. The team of Basler, Watson, Craven and Storen took second in 1:38.81.
Hopkins is back in action at the Cavalier Invitational February 9-11.
