COLLEGEVILLE, PA – The Ursinus wrestling team won nine of 10 bouts, including two by forfeit and two by fall, to fuel a 39-3 win over visiting Johns Hopkins Friday evening. The Bears improve to 7-2 overall and 2-0 in the Centennial with the win, while the Blue Jays slip to 2-5 overall and 0-2 in the Centennial.
The Bears led 15-0 after two wins by forfeit (125, 141) and a win by decision before the Blue Jays got on the board with a 7-5 win by freshman
Freddy Pimental over Ursinus senior Dante Monaco at 149. Pimental used a third-period takedown and two back points to score the come-from-behind victory and improve to 19-6 on the year. Monaco entered the match ranked 10
th in the Mideast Region with a 21-12 record. The match was the first for Pimental since he placed second at the Citrus Invitational on December 30.

The Bears grabbed three tightly contested decisions at 157, 165 and 174 to push their lead to 24-3 and put the match away with two pins and a win by decision over the final three bouts.
