LANCASTER, PA – Following her historic performance against Swarthmore Saturday afternoon, Johns Hopkins women's basketball's Elisabeth Peebles was tabbed the Centennial Conference Player of the Week, as released by the conference this morning.
 
The sophomore had her best offensive showing of the season in the Blue Jays' matchup against the Garnet Saturday, pouring in a career-best 32 points on 11-22 shooting from the field and an incredible 10-19 from 3-point territory. Peebles' 10 made threes are the most in program and Centennial Conference history, are tied for the most in a single game in Division III this season and led her to become Hopkins' first 30-point scorer since the 2016-17 season.
 
The Nashville, Tenn. Native now ranks seventh in the Centennial Conference in scoring (12.6), first in 3-point percentage (.423) and first in made threes per game (2.8). Her 47 made threes rank as the 10^th-most in a single season in program history, with Peebles sitting just 12 3-pointers away from taking the top spot.
 
The Blue Jays are back in action Friday, Feb. 23 for the Centennial Conference semifinals, with tip-off set for 8 p.m. Hopkins' opponent has yet to be determined.
