CHESTERTOWN, MD – Host Washington College scored on a penalty kick early in the game and held on for a 1-0 win over Johns Hopkins Saturday night in Centennial Conference action. Tyler Davidson scored what turned out to be the game's only goal at the 11:55-mark in the first half on a penalty kick. After a
Simon Turner save in the 19
th minute, the Blue Jays had three of the next four shots in the half, but a pair of saves by Hannes Budde kept JHU off the board.
Turner and Budde made a pair of saves each in the opening 30 minutes of the second half to keep it a one-goal game.
