NORTHBOROUGH, MA – Johns Hopkins placed two Blue Jays on the IWLCA All-America teams it was announced this afternoon. Junior Reagan O'Brien was named to the first team and senior Ashley Mackin was named to the second team.
 
The Blue Jays' two IWLCA All-America selections are the most since 2014 and just the third time since JHU moved to Division I in 1999.
 
O'Brien is the first Blue Jay to earn First Team IWLCA All-America honors since 2014 and the first defender since 1997. This is her third First Team All-America selection after also earning the honor from USA Lacrosse and Inside Lacrosse. O'Brien leads the nation and broke the NCAA single-season record with 103 caused turnovers. She now ranks 12^th in NCAA history with 166 career caused turnovers. She also leads the Big Ten and ranks third in the nation with 65 ground balls. O'Brien also broke the Johns Hopkins single-game (12) and career (166) caused turnover records this season.
 
Mackin is the first JHU attacker to earn IWLCA All-America honors since 2021 and the first to earn at least second team honors since 2014. This is her third All-America honor of the season as she previously earned honorable mention honors from USA Lacrosse and Inside Lacrosse. Mackin ranks second in the Big Ten and 12^th in the nation with a career high 66 goals. She also ranks third in the Big Ten with 85 points. The 66 points are one shy of the JHU record, despite her missing six games this season. Mackin finished her career ranked 11^th in program history in career points (181), ninth in goals (134) and 18^th in assists (47).
