BALTIMORE, MD – Johns Hopkins placed five individuals on the 2025 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Men's Track and Cross Country Team it was recently announced. 
 
Nominees must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, have at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA and be a starter or significant reserve.  First, Second and Third Team Academic All-America Men's Track and Cross Country Teams will be announced on July 16.
 
Including the five selections this season, the Johns Hopkins men's cross country/track & field teams have now produced 48 Academic All-District selections since 2003.  Each of Johns Hopkins' five selections this year is earning the honor for the first time in their career.

Rowan Cassidy
Major: Neuroscience
• Placed 3rd at 2024 Centennial Conference Cross Country Championships
• All-Region in Cross Country after placing ninth at NCAA Regional Championships
• Placed 4th at 2025 Centennial Conference Indoor Championships in the 3000 (8:39.85) and 5000 (15:12.33)
• 2025 Centennial Track Scholar-Athlete of the Year
• Six-time selection to the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll
 
Alex Colletti
Major: Mechanical Engineering
• Member of national championship DMR team at the 2025 NCAA Indoor Track Championships
• 2nd place in the 60-meter dash (6.92) at Centennial Indoor Championships
• 2nd place in the 100-meter (10.78) and 200-meter (21.85) at Centennial Outdoor Championships
• Member of 1st-place 4x400-meter relay (3:16.65) and 2nd-place 4x100-meter relay (41.68) team at Centennial Outdoor Championships
• JHU indoor record-holder in 60-meter (6.92) and 200-meter (21.87) dashes and outdoor 200-meter (21.37) dash
 
Emmanuel Leblond (Jr.)
Major:  Mechanical Engineering
• 2x Centennial Conference Cross Country Champion and Runner of the Year
• 3x All-American in Cross Country with a sixth-place finish at 2024 NCAA Championships
• First 3x All-American in JHU men's cross country history
• National runner-up in the 5,000 at 2025 NCAA Indoor Track Championships
• Third-place in the 5,000 at the 2025 NCAA Outdoor Track Championships
 
Ethan Oluwole (Sr.)
Major: Behavioral Biology
• Runner up in the Triple Jump at the 2025 Centennial Conference Outdoor Championships
• Placed 5^th in the Triple Jump at the Centennial Conference Indoor Championships
• 2024 Centennial Conference Indoor champion in the Long Jump
• Six-time Centennial Conference medalist with one gold, four silver and one bronze
 
Lucas Rackers (Gr.)
Major:  Ceramic Engineering (UG), Mechanical Engineering (PhD)
• Member of national championship DMR team at the 2025 NCAA Indoor Track Championships
• Johns Hopkins' record-holder in the indoor Mile (4:05.39)
• 2nd place in the Mile at the 2025 Centennial Indoor Championships
• 5th place at the 2024 Centennial Conference Cross Country Championships
• Competed this year while working on PhD in Mechanical Engineering
