AUSTIN, TX – Johns Hopkins placed five players on the 2025 College Sports Communicators (CSC) NCAA Division III Academic All-America Football Team it was announced today. The five selections were the most of any team in the nation at any level of college football. This is the sixth consecutive year that the Blue Jays have produced at least two Academic All-Americans; during that time, a national-best 28 Johns Hopkins football players have been honored.
Â
Graduate student quarterback
Bay Harvey, junior wide receiver
Cole Crotty and junior defensive lineman
Will Seibert all earned first team honors, while senior offensive lineman
Charlie Pearson and senior defensive lineman
Isaac Urquidi were named to the second team.
Â
Since 2011, the Johns Hopkins football team has now produced 49 Academic All-Americans; no other college football team in the nation at any level has produced more than 32 Academic All-Americans during that time.
Â
In addition, the five selections also boost Johns Hopkins' all-time number of Academic All-American football players to 61; Johns Hopkins is one of just eight college football programs in all divisions with 60 or more all-time Academic All-Americans.
Â
The selection of Harvey, Crotty, Seibert, Pearson and Urquidi pushed Johns Hopkins' haul of Academic All-Americans in the fall to 10 as the men's soccer (1), women's soccer (2) and volleyball (2) teams combined for  five selections. The 10 selections from the fall boost Johns Hopkins' all-time Academic All-America total past 300 to 302. Johns Hopkins joins MIT, Stanford and Nebraska as the only athletic programs in the nation with 300 or more all-time Academic All-Americans.
