« The Blue Jays had been just 10-8 in their previous 18 games in the month of October before jump-starting the current 54-game run with a 49-24 win at Susquehanna (10-23-2010).

Three Straight on the Road
« Johns Hopkins will play its third consecutive game on the road this week at Ursinus. This will mark just the fifth time this century that JHU has played three straight road games.
« This is the first time Johns Hopkins has played three consecutive games on the road in one season since the first three games of the 2010 season, when the Blue Jays played at Randolph-Macon, Gettysburg and Moravian to the open the season.
« Remarkably, the three-game road swing to open the 2010 season extended JHU's run of consecutive road games to seven dating back to the 2009 season. That year, the Blue Jays closed the regular season at McDaniel, then played at Hampden-Sydney, Thomas More and Wesley in the NCAA Playoffs.
« In addition to the above, JHU played three straight games on the road late in the 2005 season (final two regular season games, one playoff game) and early in the 2008 season (at Randolph-Macon, Gettysburg and Moravian).

« Baker started 47 games as in infielder for the Johns Hopkins baseball team last spring. He hit .271 with 56 runs scored, 25 RBIs, five home runs and nine doubles and set a program single-season record with 45 walks.

« The Blue Jays have leaned on their depth at wide receiver in Crotty's absence with senior Robbie Enright and sophomores Alex Orecchio and Jaeger Krauss leading the way.

« Through five games, Scully leads the team with 53 tackles, including one for a loss, and has one forced fumble and one pass breakup to his credit.
« The 53 tackles Scully has amassed in five games this season already surpass his career total entering the 2026 season and he now has 87 career tackles to his credit. His 53 tackles and 10.6 tackles per game both rank third in the Centennial entering this week's games.

« Junior Kevin Olah has recorded 24 tackles, a team-high seven pass breakups and one interception through five games. He ranks fifth on the team in tackles, leads the team in PBUs and is tied for the team-lead in INTs.
« His 46-yard interception return at Randolph-Macon set up the Blue Jays' second touchdown of the game. The 46-yard return is the longest by a Johns Hopkins player since Carson Bourdo took one back 70 yards for a touchdown against Muhlenberg in 2024.
