PHILADELPHIA, PA – Johns Hopkins wrapped up the regular season at the Temple Invitational on Sunday. The Blue Jays faced a trio of top 10 teams in Penn, Penn State and St. John's.
Hopkins opened the day with a 16-11 loss to seventh-ranked Penn.
Jamie Knox won all three of his bouts in the Epee to lead the Blue Jays to a 6-3 win.
Yi Peng Sha won twice in a tight 5-4 loss by the Foil squad.
Neil Pandey earned the Blue Jays' lone win in the Sabre.
JHU then dropped an 18-9 match to ninth-ranked Penn State. Pandey and
Alex Pan won two bouts each to lead the Sabre squad to a 5-4 win. Knox grabbed two wins in a close 5-4 loss for the Epee squad while the Foil squad lost 9-0. The Blue Jays ended the day with a tight 15-12 loss to the sixth-ranked St. John's Red Storm. Pan won all three of his bouts and the Sabre squad grabbed a 5-4 win.
Ayan Bhatnagar earned two wins to lead the Epee squad to a 5-4 win. Sha and
Spencer Grossman Smisek won one bout each in a 7-2 loss by the Foil squad.
Hopkins returns to action on Sunday, March 1 at the 2026 MACFA Championships.
