Charlie Jackson has been honored by both the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) and D3hoops.com. Jackson was named Second Team All-District 5 by the NABC and Second Team All-Region 5 by D3hoops.com.
Jackson put together one of the most more impressive seasons in recent memory. The First Team All-Centennial Conference selection finished in the top five in JHU single-season history in points (516), free throws (148) and free throw attempts (176). He also finished in the top 10 in field goals (173), defensive rebounds (139) and steals (47). He turned in just the fifth 500-point season in program history and scored 16 or more in 20 games.
Jackson is the first Blue Jay to average more than 18 points and 7 rebounds in a season since 1999-00 and is just the fifth all-time to do so. He poured in 43 points in the regular season finale - one point shy of the school single-record that has stood for 73 years. He also broke the school record with 20 made free throws in the win at Dickinson. Jackson led the Centennial Conference in scoring (17.8), free throws and free throw percentage (.841). He also ranked third in rebounding (7.4) and tied for fifth in steals (1.7).
