INDIANAPOLIS, IN – Johns Hopkins grabbed All-America honors in three events on day three of the NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships Friday. The Blue Jays picked up 24.5 points and moved into 15
th place at the championships.
Hopkins opened the night with a second-place finish in the consolation final of the 200 Medley Relay.
Jaya Veerapaneni,
Reese Rosenthal,
Ken Lee and
Kimberly Lan combined for a swim of 1:41.99, shaving half a second off their prelim time. It is the third fastest time in program history. The quartet earns Honorable Mention All-America honors with its finish.
Veerapaneni earned her second All-America honor of the night when she finished in a tie for fourth in the consolation final of the 100 Back. She finished in a career-best time of 55.59. The Blue Jays then took 14
th place in the 800 Free Relay.

Alex Watson and
Julia Tuinman finished in 7:32.61 to earn Honorable Mention All-America honors. Johns Hopkins has now produced an All-American 800 Free Relay team at every championship since 2011.
The fourth and final day of the championships begins with the prelims of the 100 Free on Saturday, March 21.
