BALTIMORE, MD – Johns Hopkins junior Phillip Long has been named the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) East/Delfina Player of the Week. This is the third straight week the Blue Jays have produced the league player of the week. In addition, this is Long's second career MPSF Player of the Week selection.
 
Long led Johns Hopkins with four goals in the Blue Jays' only game of the week, a 13-8 win over George Washington. Two of his four goals came as JHU rallied from an 8-4 deficit. In addition, he led a defense that held the Revolutionaries to just eight goals, their lowest output since September 13, 2025. The win snapped a 23-game losing streak to GW.
 
Hopkins returns to action at the Bruno Invitational on Saturday, September 26. JHU will take on MIT, Harvard and Conn College on Saturday.
